  1. And is it just me or do Cleo and Clancy resemble a comedy duo that was VERY popular at that time?
  2. And, of course, he got a mention in the issue before his debut in Detective Comics #26. Fortunately, I had the good sense to snap a pic of that too.
  3. Since we're talking about the beginning of The Batman, it'd only be right to post this pic I took of my Adventure #37 which plugs his upcoming new feature in the May issue of Detective Comics!
  4. Wow, that's a SERIOUS comic book right there!!! Congratulations!!!
  5. These are really fantastic covers!!! This would be a fun set to collect!!!
  6. I love this so much, that I paid quite a bit to get a copy for myself!!! Evidence shows that this actually hits the stands 2 weeks before Tec 27, making it The Batman's first newsstand appearance!!! Can you imagine buying an Action #12, flipping thru it and finding that last page to the Superman story and telling your newsstand guy to hold a copy of Tec #27 for you in 2 weeks? Awesome! Oh, btw, my copy is currently coverless but will be restored to all of its original glory upon adding a reproduction cover.
  7. I remember this book!!! You're very welcome!!! Always nice to put a book into a fellow collector's hands!!!
  8. Wow Book Guy, you're on quite a roll ... and SO many cool Everett covers!!! I've always liked this one for some reason. I picked up a Spanish La Prensa copy of it just because it was cool.
  9. Nice copy and yes, it's an Everett! His signature is just below the stern.
  10. Just being able to thumb thru an original issue of this is quite remarkable!!! Not many have that opportunity!
  11. Bedrock City sells breath mints .... might wanna stock some smelling salts too ... just a suggestion.
  12. Hungry, utensil wielding cat to hungry, utensil wielding cat.
  13. If it IS Burgos (and it very well COULD be), he did his very best to mimic Everett's Subby face! I can't believe Everett would forget subby's ankle wings though!
  14. Checkerboard fashion choice to checkerboard fashion choice.
  15. La Prensa version of Two-Gun Kid #73 and a few interior goodies!
  16. Ha! Another copy of #73!!! Because I got a great deal? Nope, I probably overpaid and I certainly waited forever to get them, but I really dig these books, so ... I got a double!
  17. Just in today! Also a few pics of some interior! One of the many reasons I love these Mexican publications! Oh, this is Two-Gun Kid #73.
  18. Horizontal blades of death to vertical blade of death.
