  1. Up for sale are 10 of the last 13 digest format issues of Adventure Comics. They are all in VF/NM (at least) condition in my opinion with the only blemish being a grease pencil number written on 492 (visible in scan) Paypal accepted. I'll work with whichever shipping options you'd like.
  2. Good prices, bullet proof packaging and quick shipping. What's not to like?
  3. Just thought I'd post one of these
  4. Matt bought many books from me and paid promptly!
  5. According to Heritage, these 3 books of mine are from the Toth collection. Not as high grade as some of the ones shown so far, but I like them!
  6. The glare hides it but the CGC 101 is a 7.0, the raw 101 is around a VG+
  7. Got this in the mail today. The seller (David T. Alexander) dubbed them 'The Egyption collection'. Here's his description: THE EGYPTIAN COLLECTION. This comic book is part of an original owner collection of about 600 comics published between 1945 and 1954. They were printed in the U S and exported to Egypt and sold there. The original owner bought many of them from U S military base PX stores. Some were purchased on newsstands. For decades they were stored in the arid desert climate near the pyramids. Although they show some signs of use, the pages are generally very supple and off-white. Many have unique distributor marks and a few have Arabic distributor markings written on them My first Fawcett books! Another Action to add to my list
  8. Thanks Silver, I've been really enjoying everyone else's posts here and I thought I would contribute my own. I would have posted more but my collection is split between my folks house and my home. Somehow paying for half a mortgage doesn't entitle me to have a comic room in my own house...oh well. My wife would probably give them all away if I kept them at home. I've been collecting Superman / Action Comics on and off for about 25 years and have full runs of every issue of both titles published from late 1959 to somewhere around 2002 where I couldn't justify paying 2.50 CDN for garbage anymore. I would have stopped much earlier but old habits die hard and I had an agreement with my LCS to hold on to my subscription for up to 1 year before I came and picked it up when I got back in town.
  9. I'm looking for a better copy of this book.
