Good issue. Very dramatic change of pace. Here's my spoiler free review (I think it's spoiler free!). Let me know if I'm wrong. I tried to be discreet.

Fretting so much over a $20 book is equally ridiculous. If he doesn`t pay, put him on the list by all means, but don`t get so hung up over it. It`s $20. That won`t even buy you 3 beers in a bar in Manhattan anymore. You've been away for a while . . . $20? Try $40 I am indeed out of touch. Anyways, just even more reason why getting so worked up over non-payment of $20 after only 7 days seems so, well, petty. First of all, it's the principle of the matter. I don't like having my time or energy wasted. Especially when I could have sold it to another board member. Second of all, $20 may mean more to some people than others. Sorry, if I'm not a "high-roller" like you. I make a modest living and don't have wads of cash to blow like some of the other people on these boards. You don't know me and you sure as hell don't know my financial situation. So, instead of calling me petty, maybe you should consider keeping your elitist attitude to yourself.

It's been 7+ days and he's not responded to any of my PM's. Sigh. 30 days to pay for a $20 book is pretty ridiculous, don't you think? Even if he responds now, I won't be selling it to him.

Post shows that he's read at least one of my messages asking him to pay. So I doubt he's on vacation.

Yeah, I mean if it comes down to it, I will reluctantly refund him the full amount, but it just bothers me that he's asking for a refund so quickly. BCC (black cat comics) says he's reputable on the boards and is a part-time Heritage grader. But yeah, it's my word against his. I do have the receipt, like I said, but that's the only proof I have.

At the end of VCC I sold a copy of Daredevil #1 for $85 to BCC. I sent it off on 12/10/07 Priority Mail. He claims he never received it. I did not put delivery confirmation, nor insurance on the package, nor did he ask for it (I only charged $5 for shipping). Anyway, it's been around 2 weeks and he says he's still not received it. I have no history with BCC, but I know people on this board will vouch for my transaction rate / satisfaction (which is 100%). He's demanding a refund, saying I should bear the loss since I did not insure or track it. I proposed that both of us to bear the loss as he did not ask for tracking / insurance either. I do have the receipt for the shipped item and intend to file a missing package report to the Post Office. Suggestions?
