In my sale thread, I put in "the first posted publicly takes precedence, although PM offers are accepted."
Now, if someone actually wanted my tat.....
-slym (it's now on page 2)
I don't put up any rules.
I'm just trying to avoid any confusion. I think clarity helps, especially since I'm a noob here.
Again, if someone actually wanted anything, that is.....
-slym ( )
The job of noobs in the marketplace should be to maintain confusion and avoid clarity...,
Seriously though, I appreciate those sellers here who consider PMs as a placeholder for books under negotiation. I have to buy big books on time payments, so need to PM the seller first as a courtesy.
I use the same principle when I sell. I would rather sell to a collector on time payments, than to a deep-pocketed flipper any day.
And yes, I wish that I would have even one buyer at times...., let alone two for the same item...,
I agree. That's how I list my sales threads. Not everyone has a lot of spare cash to spend on a book at once and people should have the right to work a deal in private.

Figured out how to add the pic. Check out my previous post. The Page is Sweet.

This happy package was in the mail today. One of my favorite comics as a kid was Brave and Bold 85, the first "new look" Green Arrow. So, I jumped at the chance to pick up this page pencilled and inked by Neal Adams -- the actual first appearance of the bearded Green Arrow.
I can't believe only 1 person has commented on this
VERY nice piece - congratulations!
Thanks. I'd wondered if it'd fallen under the radar.
Awesome pick up.

Lets give this thread a bump.

Depends on if you're looking at art wise or storyline wise.

In reading through this interesting post, which 90's mass-produced copper do you think shows up most in the average collection?
1) Spawn #1 - I'm covered as I have doubles of 1-13 because I always had hope the character would come around again, and enjoyed these foundation issues.
2) Spider-Man #1 - no matter the different covers. I still keep my Platinum tucked away.
3) X-Men #1 - any of the many covers.
4) X-Force #1.
I'd vote Spawn, but there are plenty of McFarlane Spidey fans holding onto their Green, Silver, Gold copies for dear life.
My Platinum, Gold w/ UPC and Chromium will always be favorites in my collection! I don't care how many #1's are out there!
And I have NEVER owned a copy of X-Force #1. Was is just as big as these?
X-Force 1 rocks.

Awesome. Way to go on 1-40

Negotiable on the 64 huh? How many rolls of quarters do you think?

I finally got slabbed this book I bought off the rack. Seems it was a pretty good investment back in the day:
Awesome copy Bob

Thanks for the info. So who is this David Toth?
-
So what Pedigree has the most complete JLA run in it besides Ricks?
-
Lets see some more sweeet issues.

Kudos to cujobyte for a quick delivery on my ASM 45. (thumbs u And to the Shark man for some sweet JLA issues I traded him for.
