So, I heard back from my guy.

 

As expected, he backed out of the deal citing medical issues. I expected some sort of excuse and was actually betting it was going to be medical because it's impossible to prove and forces you to be sympathetic. Now you guys know me, and I'm generally a bleeding heart but I sometimes have a hard time believing someone using 'medical issues' as an excuse when

 

1) they post on the chat forums the entire time PMs are going unanswered

2) they finally reply after you threaten them with public exposure

 

BTW, I suffer from the same 'medical issues' as this person.

Pilot was good until they tied it into Arrow. Found that part a little cheesy. Nice effects at the end with the Tornado.

Rented the blu-ray from Redbox last night.

My review:

There was some seriously great talent in Jaimie Foxx and Paul Giamatti completely wasted in this movie.

Emma was pretty good.

Spidey looked good but reminded me of whiny Anakin Skywalker, alot.

I am glad we only spent $2 to see this and instead saw GotG in the theatre.

I liked it. My wife gave up after 30 minutes. She loves the movies but can't get into any of the TV shows.

I haven't seen it yet either. Going to wait for Amazon or Netflix. I'll save my theatre money for Godzilla.

I enjoyed how they handled The Falcon character. And it was really fun to watch him fly around. Very Ironman-esqe for me!
