Thought I marked this sold. It is.

I was able to confirm that the Whitman version of Marvel's Greatest Comics #74 had a 30 cent cover price when the Marvel version had been raised to 35 cents. I don't think it's a variant though, just an error and an anomaly. If there are Whitman versions with a 35 cent cover, that would be interesting.

May not be the best place to ask, but it looks like most of the Whitman scholars hang out here. Are there Whitman "Reverse Price Variants?" Meaning that Marvel raised the price of an issue, but the Whitman's did not have the price increase. If so, are all of that issue with just one price, or could some have the old price and raised price. Thanks for any info.

Richard, I will take this one based on two things I hope you will agree to. 1) You will give it to the first customer in the store you're working at on Saturday. Explain to them the coolness of Bronze Teen Humor, Romance, Westerns and other lesser collected genres. 2) Take the extra payment (already sent through PayPal) to buy your staff pizza and drinks tomorrow for lunch (or dinner). I'm not sure how many people you'll have in the store with you. If there is money left over, send a pie to another store or two. It's not much, but hopefully it'll take your mind off things for a little while.
