  1. Hello, Please take a look at Linda Carter, Student Nurse #1. It really needs a major overhaul. Thanks. Score Adjusted 2/21/22
  2. I do not know. But I check candy aisles every once in a while to see if someone happened to make it again.😟
  3. Just because there hasn't been a recorded attack doesn't mean they aren't out there. Bull Sharks In St. Louis
  4. The Murphy Anderson Pedigree also has some nice Silver Romance, stretching out into Bronze. But I agree about the girls buying them, reading them and then likely not worrying about condition after that. I do remember at least one sale on here of an OO collection from a young lady that had some Romance/Teen Humor bools that were really nice. I picked up quite a few of them. I also found a husband and wife on eBay that were selling her OO collection of DC Romance that were very nice, but not NM+ or better nice. Otherwise, a book here or there is about all I see from young ladies that collected Romance in the 50s-70s. Hopefully some more pop up.
  5. "When no one has cared enough to have something graded even once... it's hard to justify much of anything for that issue. " On this, I'd have to disagree with you. I have the entire run of all of the YR books with the National or DC logo on them. I have looked for years for the best raw copies I could find. If I found any issue I though would even grade NM or better I would submit it. They are just really difficult to find. Maybe @greggyor @Dr. Love have some issues pre #156 that are 9.8 candidates? Either way, thanks for your input! It's all interesting to me.
  6. Thanks, @valiantman. The TV Guide answer is interesting, but I definitely wasn't trying to include anything but comics. 9749 titles without a 9.8 is mind boggling to me. I had absolutely no idea there were anywhere near that many titles period, let alone without a 9.8. Incredible. It looks like Blondie Comics/Blondie Comics Monthly ran for at least 172 issues, and has zero 9.8s. So, that beats GR for sure. King Comics ran at least 159 issues, and Tracy Monthly/and Tracy ran to issue 145 and has no 9.8s. So, DTM/DT would be 4th behind GR? At least from this small amount if info? Another interesting one to me is Kid Colt Outlaw. It goes to issue 127 to see the first 9.8. I would have guessed that both DTM/DT and Kid Colt would have shown up in a Pedigree over the years in great shape, but I guess not.
  7. It’s not Action Comics nor Detective Comics. I’m guessing Pedigrees have something to do with that. It’s also not Four Color. Marvel Mystery Comics has a few, but the original Marvel Tales don’t seem to have any after the name change. I’m counting name changes with continuing issue numbers as one run. Here’s my best guess.
  8. I've had a heck of a time finding high grade raws of this one. Would love a 9.8.
  9. That was Drink 7 Beers Get The 8th Free Night. Don’t think you were at that restaurant by mistake.
  10. I had to get a switch a few times as a kid. If not that, it was the belt. Sad thing is, I probably deserved it 80% of the time. I was a very mischievous child.
  11. This is a valid concern. It could especially come into play with big sales threads such as Dale’s, October’s, Foolkiller’s and a few others. They often create a feeding frenzy, I’ll bet several buyers don’t read all of the rules. It usually won’t be a problem for the boards, but if a seller accepts PayPal but only up to $499 or some similar requirement, some sales could end up being a headache for the seller and the buyer. I don’t remember listing one book early ever being a problem before. Maybe it always was a rule, and I never saw it.
  12. The last three issues of VoE are very tough to find in high grade. I agree that the print runs were probably pretty low by then. Tnuth is, none of the issues are very easy to get in higher grades.
  13. Just one book here. The Joker #3 from 1975. This is probably the hardest issue from the short run to find in high grade. The Creeper appears. CGC 9.6 White. Price $310 + shipping. Last two sales, $360 and $361 from this month and last month. I believe this book is fairly discounted for the boards, so the price on this is firm. 1) PayPal, Venmo, checks, MOs and even cash are fine. 2) Shipping will be on the buyer at cost. This will ship USPS Priority Box to the US. First Class to Canada. 3) Returns are fine within 14 days of USPS posted delivery date, but buyer pays return shipping. 4) No Bad Listers 5) Ridiculing the books is ok *6) The or a typed I'll take it, take it or clearly understood version MUST BE POSTED IN THE THREAD! I will do it for you if we are discussing a sale via PM, but it has to be posted in the thread by the buyer or me. If we agree on something via PM, and someone else takes it in the thread before you or I post the , that person gets the book.
  14. For your consideration: Tomb of Dracula 13 Frankenstein 1 Supernatural Thrillers 5
  15. Comic collectors have a very large percentage of both the high and the insane.
