  1. It was a 4.5 prior to cracking it out, but now hoping it's either a 5.0 or 5.5. 🙏
  2. Appreciate your expertise Mr. Paul. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I'm sure this will happen to someone again at some point and this will be a good reference.
  3. This one's in the mid-grade range (4.5 to 5.5). I will submit it either way and post what I get back from CGC. Thanks for the repsonse!
  4. Even though it was an accident, technically, the edge was trimmed, so I can't complain if that's the way they choose to go. Thanks for the reply!
  5. Thank you for the reply. I'm wondering if it would help if I submitted a note with the book explaining what happened and that there was no intention of trying to restore the book.
  6. I got careless removing an old-slabbed SS#4 from its inner well and accidentally trimmed off a 1" section of paper in the process. My question is this now considered trimmed, or would it just be a slice defect? You can see it to the right of Surfer's board. Any insight would be appreciated. 🙏
  7. 9.4 Slight color break top right corner and corner crunch bottom left.
  8. From home as well.... Marvel Family 36 6.0 (perhaps a bit harsh on that staple, but it didn't look good) Amazing Spider-man Annual 16 8.0 Daredevil 168 9.0
  9. Apologies for dredging up this old thread, but it's the closest thing to what I was looking for. If I submit an order that is to be shipped out in three different tiers, does CGC bill everything once the first tier (express) ships out or do they bill each tier individually?
  10. Hmm...just under 1/8". Crossing my fingers I can get that 9.0 then.
  11. See? Glad I asked. I was thinking in the 9.2 range.
  12. So I'm an old timer when it comes to collecting, but fairly new when it comes to grading. Stuff I have sent in to get graded thinking it would be a 9.6 came back 9.0 so I'm doubting my ability to grade a comic. I'd like to ask for some help on this comic as I'm really not sure how much the flaws will hurt the grade. The top right corner has some color rub, the top left corner is a little rough. The bottom right corner has a color breaking bend and I do see a color breaking spine tic. Add those up and what do I have? Appreciate the help everyone.
  13. Is there a particular reason I see 9.9s and 10s using this lighter color number as well?
