    Shipped 11-16

Not a single 9 but there is redemption CGC;1. You listened to my Christmas wish and tied my box in Christmas ribbon or 2. You're using anything but cardboard dividers.

Discount on any scratch or ding items (kidding). Everyone is already selling for less than competitor's, but I joke it's due to the S&D (and the occasional hairs encased).

Hope this helps. Don't forget to smile

    Update:
I called today and spoke with Accounting. I asked if there was a block/hold on my payment but could not get confirmation. I did inform him I had no worries other than the forum discussing payment holds/block as my cards are still in GEI from 10-1.. I had them charge my card and I was informed Shipping Department will be notified to get those out.

I am curious to see how this goes.

    Update:
    50 card bulk
Delivered - 4/30 (along with ST 15 cards, and EX 4 cards)
    Received - 5/7
    SFG - 7/9
    GEI - 10-1
    Charged 10-21

Customer Service doesn't know, the Customer doesn't know, the Fourm can't figure it out...

I've seen mention of new coating on the cardboard inserts. I've seen CGC tell a paying Customer to go buy plast-x to make brand new slabs newer ( I admit to buying Polywatch; it worked okay), and I've seen CGC admit shipping department is a little rough at times.

I could say all I want is my CGC 8.5 expedition Charizard to NOT have someone's hairs encapsulated on both sides, and a graders remarks (scribbled on a piece of paper is fine) for subgrades to help me understand where or why it didn't get a 9; but that involves sending my card back waiting for an unknown amount of time and no guarantee it comes back in the same condition it arrived in.

This is corporate downfall. Too many Customer's to please the outliers.

I like the reported new cardboard inserts but we pay darn good money for shipping (impress us with a .02 cent sleeve that ups QA production time a bit). Send us a mini bottle of Plast-x to fix your scratches or shipping department accidents. Educate your Customer Support to set reasonable expectations with aim for first call resolution. Put hair nets on when slabbing Express cards. Expedite my cards to give you valuable feed-back.

    Or don't.

    PS
You better put a darn pretty Christmas colored ribbon tied in a bow on this bulk order - that's all I really want :)

  4. @Dylan Thigpen Hey Dylan let's both take a breather,

I wasn't talking down (it happened to me bro). I agree with you all, things are not going as they should. There seems to be a lot of complaints going around and knowledge is power. I'll also mention my ST received 5/7 has shipped, leaving my EX in the same mailing behind as well as my 4/27 ST.

As far as abusing the system goes; do you like paying extra shipping, taking the time to print separate orders, package them in separate mailings, and leave larger risk of a mishap with more mailings? I don't. I have sat on these cards for 20+ years so I'm going to do what I want; Like give updates to the forum and not make things personal  :)

CGC still has their door open with better grading prices. That's something I'm thankful for.

  5. @Yeahiwasder4datYes, my first submission ever is the ST (received 4-27) and hit grading 5/20. My other submission contained 3 tiers in the one mailing received 5/7.

I want to be clear I didn't share my times to fuel complaints; it's for folks that are patiently waiting. We all have expectations and some of us spent the money to justify them, some of us didn't.

Good luck to everyone and remember, Customer Service is your partner in business, not your punching bag :)

  6. How does everyone package multiple orders in one box? I may be worrying myself for no reason but I sent 1 box and inside a standard order in a bubble mailer and a bulk order in a small card box (4x3x2) (just enough for a sleeve and laying flat). Both have the packaging slip inside of the respective container.

    Questions:
    1. Have you sent cards in sleeve only / no top loaders (asking mostly about bulk)?
    2. Once the main box is opened, I don't have anything on the outside of the packaging other than "Standard" and "Bulk". Is this how everyone submits? Can this cause issues?

Thank you for your time and helpful input.

On to business day #25 without my package being received...

31 calendar days is the magic number, I know it. :) Just stay hopeful. This was my first time submission, so sitting back watching and judging CGC right now. I kicked a 5 card order into PSA right before their price hike. My box was delivered to their area post office. Sat for 2 weeks. Was accepted and then moved to PSA's facility from the POST OFFICE, then rejected due to damage lol. Came back to me safe 2 months from when mailed though. Forget PSA (and this is my own opinion for Pokemon grading). I'm staying hopeful on CGC's outfit for now.

hello all. im sorry if this is a noob question. i just did my first ever submission of 15 cards using the standard service and it was received on 3/15. ive read through this post and ive seen a few people mention writing their submission level on the box. i know for sure that i did not do this.. is it worth it contacting CGC and letting them know or should i just let it ride? any input is greatly appreciated. thank you
