Im guessing because they don't process submissions in the order they were received. This means everyone's turnaround time is essentially random, and there is no point in anyone tracking turnaround times in this thread.

from my understanding it has to do with the types of cards sent.

CGC has modern graders, and they have vintage graders. (yes, some can grade both but i'm assuming there are more modern graders than vintage)

there are also graders that are more specialized in different TCGs, sports, etc.

Some graders are more backed up than others. High value cards probably get looked at by more graders.

    a lot of variations here.

there is a point in tracking turnaround times, but maybe we should specify what exactly is in our subs.

my 3 card economy has been in GEI a little over a week now. i see some subs fly in and out of GEI. i'm assuming mine is taking a bit longer because i have a 2004 animal crossing card, and there are 0 pop. other 2 cards are vintage japanese pokemon and vintage yugioh.

  2. i know this technically isn't the right board for this, but a turnaround thread for cards doesn't exist.

i submitted a card order to CGC, was delivered on oct 6 and it has yet to be opened / on my dash hm

i see comic orders are opened within 5 days. hopefully it gets put on my dash soon.

try page 31 towards the bottom, it's the only mention of movement that I've seen. edit to say and it was bendis but they were advertised at the same time or to sign at the same time..

Edit to say again, it's only been two weeks since my Bagley got signed, so soon I'd hope

talk about coincidence. my bagley just moved to GEI

I hope your experience is better than mine.

If it’s like my recent ME return of eight improperly slab books with four of them damaged, CGC won’t press the books they damaged by not sealing the slabs properly in the first place and passed through QC. They just put the bent books in new slab and…

    WHOOMP! There it is!

Your newly slab book with fresh damage after grading and slabbing/QC fail #1.

Before sending the book over to them, the customer service rep on the phone assured me it would be pressed. she even sent me a written email i could print out and place in the package. i really do hope it was repressed. i wouldn't even mind if they contacted me and told me i needed to PAY for the pressing (instead of just instantly reslabbing the book with a lower grade without contacting me about it).

On the ME submission. the corner of my wolverine 1 was bent. I did not send it in that way, and I had also purchased CCS pressing. the bend was not in the graders notes, so it must have gotten dropped in transit and it shifted around in the slab. there is no damage to the slab itself. luckily, it didn't break color. I ended up calling CGC, and they told me they would repress it for free. I hope they do, since i did pay for pressing after all. fingers are crossed, i'd hate for it to not get pressed and to get a lower grade for something completely out of my control. :wishluck:

ME just hit my dashboard today. didn't see anything on my dashboard about the ME being at CCS. hope i didn't just send it in for a lower grade :(
