do signing event turnaround times usually start on the last day you can submit? is there any reason to submit early?

I have a couple 90s comics that have some dull staples (no rust) and i was just wondering how much that affects the grade. Does it matter if there's no rust? or can it prevent it from hitting 9.6/9.8 if there are no other flaws?

anyone know what time to expect movement? i'm assuming if there is movement, it'll happen around 6 AM - 9 PM PST.

interesting. they charged me a couple days after they were in grading. i'm just used to PSA, because usually a charge means they're about to ship. was wondering if CGC did the same, but i guess they just charge whenever they can.

question for anyone currently in G/E/I have you been charged yet? or still waiting for a charge? trying to gauge how fast/slow it'll move after being charged.

Was just charged for the fast track order. No Movement though.

yeah, i’ve noticed (for me) they usually do this when they’re either extremely busy or they forgot to load the package on to the truck. I’ve called a representative about it and they said something along the lines of they don’t have a status for delaying it, which is why you see an obstruction or animal interference status. to be honest, i’d rather see those stauses than a delivered status with no package. my post office is notorious for marking packages as delivered but actually delivering them the next day. it’s so anxiety inducing. wonder if that has to do with daily quotas or something.

if we get them back before the end of the year i might have to go buy a lotto ticket

quick question. at what stage does CGC charge you for grading? first time using CGC, but am familiar with sending in submissions as I have sent cards to PSA. PSA charges you after grading but right before shipping. Was just wondering if CGC did the same.

I'm assuming I'll have to wait about 5 more months.

So currently the turn around time for CCS pressing is 183 days. TAT for CGC grading is at 111 days. If you submit to get a pressing done at CCS you obviously have to wait the 183 business days, but after it's done pressing do you also have to wait the 111 days for grading? Or do you get bumped up to get graded with the orders around the time CGC received your package?
