  1. I'm really confused. When I first checked today, my economy sub was marked as "Quality Control / Finalized". When I came back and looked again, it was switched to "Grading / Quality Control". What does this mean?
  2. This is one of the best breakdowns of turnaround times I've seen! Thanks for the info.
  3. Still beats mine. 1 card Express with subgrades was delivered 4/30 and received 5/6. Still in "Grading/Quality Control". I called last Thursday and they said it would ship the next day, but I'm still waiting... 28 business days since delivered and 24 since received.
  4. I have an express submission delivered on 4/30 that has been sitting in grading since 5/18. I called this morning to see what was going on with it. I was told the payment had processed and it would be shipped by tomorrow. I'm thrilled to have it coming back soon, but I'm still curious as to why there was so much of a delay? Express turnaround times have been listed as 7-12 days during this time and my card has been at CGC for 24 business days, 12 days just for the grading step. It's almost at Standard turnaround times. If it has been there as long as a Standard submission, is there possibility of compensation for the extra cost of submitting Express over Standard since my card didn't really get graded at that speed?
  5. I'm having a tough time understanding the turnaround times and the updates that came through yesterday as it relates to my sub. 4/30 - Express Sub was delivered to CGC 5/6 - Sub was entered into system and updated to "received" 5/13 - Sub was updated to "Scheduled for Grading" 5/18 - Sub updated to "Grading/Quality Control" It makes sense that I haven't seen an update on the order if I consider the turnaround time that was posted through Monday of 24 days. However, now the estimated time was updated to 7 days. If that's accurate, why would my order still not be completed grading. I'm at 14 days from received. Am I not understanding turnaround times correctly? I do get that it's an estimate, but seems weird that they decreased the listed times (which is rare nowadays) and yet still have cards that are beyond that time.
