    It's a copy of Spider Man 300 that I recently sold and the buyer (a comic book shop) is trying to tell me it has been restored. When I sold the comic I disclosed it was not in good shape. Major flaws are visible water damage on the front cover and crinkling of the pages almost throughout the book. Also the usual messed up corners, yellow pages, etc. He is forcing a return on me because he says it has been restored. I've owned since 2001 and I've never done anything like that plus I cannot think of anybody dumb enough to restore something with obvious water damage. What he is calling a restoration never bled through to other page. It just stayed with the ad. In one picture you can see that ad bled through to the opposite page which I know was fairly common on marvel for many years. What are your thoughts? Worth putting a slab on it and calling it a day?

    I am debating on buying a proof of one of my favorite artist which is signed by her. The card is expensive so I want it graded. Does CGC do gold labels like they do in comics? Does the label show it is a proof? Thanks for any help

    9.4, problem though is it may not be a 9.4 anymore... if I did sent it back I assume it’s best to send it slabbed? My Spider-Man 361 is super oily and I though about a reslab on that as well.

    That’s exactly it. Sucks mine is on the front... I will call CGC and see what they say

    Yes. Also in the same frame there are two other slabbed comics with no issues. Only difference is the other two are the newer style slap. Only a few years old. I looked at it up close with a light directly hitting it and it looks fine. I’m seriously thinking there is a slight warp of the inner part of the slab. I have one comic with the oil slick effect and it’s kind of like that but without the colors. It’s always on the same exact spot

    I forgot to take them before leaving the house. I will post them in a bit. It literally could be the way the light hits it but like I said none of the newer ones do it. I forgot to add that strait on it looks fine

    This is in my Spider-Man 300. My question is in the right light, from the side it looks like things are wrinkled bad. Like a bag was placed in it and wrinkled. This is my only old slab and none of the newer ones do it. Is this normal? Edit: Look past the glare and you can see it. From a distance it is more pronounced
