  1. I know there are mixed feelings about grading packs, but if CGC were to offer that, I think I would actually love to send in some old Japanese base packs for encapsulation - beats my tarot card sleeves and/or acrylic cases from eBay.
  2. All my past and present submissions have been wiped too, so I think they're just tinkering with the back end of the site.
  3. I'm quickly coming up on my yearly renewal. Will I receive the $150 grading credit every renewal period, or is that just for new memberships?
  4. Delivered: 4/2/21 Received: 6/22/21 Items: 69 Declared Value: Nice Try Service: TCG - BULK Status: Scheduled for Grading
  5. A quick response to your question would be that CGC only grades Pokemon and Magic cards (currently), but I do believe there's plans to include YuGiOh at some point.
  6. If we're paying 1000 dollars for a submission, it would be nice to receive a little foam treatment - go a little crazy, be a little luxurious.
  7. Just wondering what the verdict is on these cards - I grabbed a few off of eBay and would LOVE to hear your thoughts. The seller wanted to play it safe by saying he expects them to be NFC. Either way, fun to look at. Secondly - will CGC just send them back to me if proven to be NFC? Or will I be charged just the same?
  8. Remember that Photoshop still exists - cert or it didn't happen.
  9. If the PSA purists can live without subgrades, I can too - in fact, I have a mixture of both CGC versions and I find that all my attention is drawn toward the subgrades instead of just quickly glancing at the final grade, then the card at hand. I just wish they'd center the card info a little better when subgrades aren't present.
  10. There has to be a way to print the final grade number firmly in the center of the white box....some of my slabs look like a joke with the off-centered official text. Gem Mint looks funny when it's printed nearly outside the box.
  11. Bulk/Standard orders that I sent in on April 2nd - both orders opened/received on 6/22, Standard order scheduled for grading 6/25. Happy!
  12. Shoot...yeah. Why not a nice plastic label that will stand the test of time?
  13. I'm just wondering if the labels just all end up curling or going wavy to a degree after a certain amount of time at home. My personally submitted slabs are starting to go the way of the concave, and I've only had CGC slabs since May. And this comes from a guy who prides himself with a low humidity collection room.
  14. Interesting... Would you say nonsubgrade slabs were put through a more lenient grading process? I'm genuinely curious to learn more about the difference - I literally thought it was just the price difference, since they don't make a big deal about it in their add-on's section.
  15. I really wish you could sign an upcharge waiver, stating that the customer consents to CGC charging for subgrades (where there weren't any), and extra shipping obviously, if CGC knows that a card had earned 4x10's.
  16. Yep - just think of it as a 150 dollar off coupon toward their service. Shipping doesn't receive the discount.
  17. Yeah, I'm thoroughly bummed that I sent some of my faves via standard, but also included them in the same box as my bulk subs back in March. They're just sitting in there wondering what's up.
