  1. KUDOS to divad for good sound advice/support and MANY THANKS for the TOS sale...hope you enjoy the book!
  2. That is a good deal! Nice pick-up! I sold a VG copy about a year ago for $80 on schmeebay...
  3. 6.5! That is hard to believe...why such a harsh grade...that has got to be the SWEETEST 6.5 in existence! Please share the notes or the salient point(s) that knocked this book down because they are not readily evident..
  4. That is one SWEEEEEEEEET copy! How long have you owned it and where did you get it? Looks like 8.5-9.0 material...
  5. 5 for 5 CGC 9.0 or better...that is righteous! Will you make my football pix for me this weekend??? (thumbs u
  6. Well, sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes he eats you. I sold this to Nik as a raw 9.2 for a LOT LOT less than it's worth. I guess it's karmic retribution for the 9.6 Batman 234 I got from Donut that he had at 7.5. That is one sweet ASM 36...
  7. Amazing copy THANX! I am quite happy with my acquisition!
  8. Sweet books Thank you...I've been trolling for that 41 for about 2 years now...was sniped like 3 times in the last year...plus we've just bought a 2nd home/loft downtown LA that we're closing on so I had to get special permission from my old lady to snag this one...understanding old ladies are worth their weight in gold! (I did offer a bribe.)
  9. That's awesome and not sure I've even seen that title before...would make a great gift for my hole attorney brother-in-law...not that I'd be giving him a gift...
  10. Just arrived today...a highly sought (for me) ASM 41 CGC 9.0 (old label) with WHITE pages! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a nice JIM 122 CGC 9.0...
  11. Nice to have these waiting for me returning from vacation... Oh...and this is funny..one of my fishing guides on my fishing trip to British Columbia was named Thor (the other guides called him Viking) and he said he was a direct descendant of Eric the Red...and he had a big wooden mallet/hammer to knock the fish out he called his Mjolnir...he was a great fisherman and a funny guy... FF 63 FF 86 JIM/THOR 124 THOR 149
  12. I've had a friend or two saying they've had some issues with ComicLink mostly in the customer-service realm, not the books themselves. I think they're great! The seller pays 10% so that's part of the final purchase price...plus I've been able to get many books for about 2/3 the ask price (say $100 for a book asking $150) (but that has its own risks too, have put in 75% bids hoping for a deal only to check back a little later seeing someone paid the full ask price that I would have been happy to pay...)... So all you pay is $14 for standard shipping and that's up to 3 books! I always try to buy in batches of 2 or 3 which saves up to $28 in shipping...and it's been my experience that if you communicate well, they'll always work with you say if you say you're bidding on others and want to pay for them all 2 weeks down the road... Good luck!
  13. glad you're pleased and I'm sure your friend will be as well...that was qwik-ship for USPS 1st class...THANKS!
