Where did you snap that up? Pedgree. Was runner-up to Serpico when it was on eBay a few years ago. Wasn't home when Metro emailed me with the price before they listed it on their site for $600 and bought by rube. Finally decided and bit to bullet for the book at $750, Went from $450 to $600 to $750 Too bad about the off-white to white pages. Where's Raggedy Ann?

Congrats on this one. I had every intention of winning that auction but then totally forgot to bid. I was ready to go triple digits if necessary. That's a book I almost never see in any kind of grade. Thanks for the kind words. I turned down a seller who offered me a CGC 9.0 copy of this a couple years ago. I wanted a nice copy badly, but I thought his asking price was too much and figured I would come across another. I haven't seen a nice copy for sale since. When I saw it on ebay, I placed a snipe bid immediately. Hopefully, it looks nice when I have it in my hands. I'll make a new post when I get it. Incidently, I don't remember the seller's name with the CGC 9.0, but if you are reading this, Well, I just received the book, and I'm grateful nobody else bid because I would have overpaid badly. There is a tear in the lower left hand corner. It must have been hidden in the scan. It's the first thing I saw when I picked it up. This seller. He states in the description, that shipping in a box is $9.95. His invoice is for $6.95. I send him $15 for shipping and request he packages the book with care. He ships it in a manilla envelope between two pieces of cardboard and the book is sticking out from the cardboard in two spots. What a "spoon" Anybody out there with a nice copy: PLEASE That sucks! I have a CGC 9.0 copy that I will trade you for your CGC 9.2 Love Stories #5 Anything else you're looking for? No. Sorry. Are you sure you don't want to give up that 9.2? I've got 3 Love Stories #5 (1 cgc 7.0 and 2 raw). I would give you the My Love 9.0, a Love Stories #5, and some cash.
