Managed to get a ridiculous amount of money from Stan to spend on comic art but had no clue how foolish it was to have Stan scribble on everything. I keep hoping we are near the end of the Stan Lee scribbles but they just seem to never end.

That’s because his money paid for them.
I know. It's absolutely disgusting. I hope this money isn't going back to the guy that bought it with Stan's money.

It was a great show. My favorite part is things moved along at a nice pace too. Got through 12 rounds with 2 pieces per dealer in about an hour.

looks pretty legit to me. I was starting to think that maybe mine was fake. ;-)

This is horrible. I have noticed a trend on CAF of being contacted to sell and the buyer doesn't have 1 piece in their own CAF gallery.

I think pulling Bruce Wang is a mistake. It's too late too hide it now.

started getting commissions in the early 90s but didn't really start collecting until 2005.

Thanks, Dan.
In the end, it's impossible to have the perfect website for everyone. What I've been doing seems to be working thus far and so (out of superstition, if nothing else) I'm going to keep doing it. Until it stops working.
But I hear you. I think one compromise would be to have the option of "turning off" sold items, as I believe Alex is suggesting. I'll make a note of that for the next site update.
Being able to turn off the sold items would be great. Right now everything on the home page of your site is sold. It definitely shows that things are selling. Looking forward to making my first purchase from you very soon, Felix. I just hope I'm fast enough when the art I'm interested in drops.

Yeah I hate having to look through sold art to see what is actually available for sale. Either remove the sold art or have a separate section on the site for sold art.
-
Not that I'm aware of. I'd give it a few days and e-mail again.

No problem and good luck with your hunt.

Have you tried contacting Dave and Meredith directly? Last I heard they were selling their art directly and they probably still have some stuff left. Though a lot of the I am Bane stuff sold quickly through Spencer Beck.

The buyer is very active online so I think we are all giving him the chance to announce it himself. I'm sure he's got one heck of a write up that's going to come along with it.

Yeah that was a great Bermejo Joker piece. I think the lack of any new published stuff may have pushed the price of this one up.
