  1. Here's another book that I am submitting. What you guys think? I'll be adding a few more books that I submitted. I'm new here but I think it's fun to ask what the community thinks and then post the "Grade is in" So I have awhile to wait for these to come back I am equally excited to update these with the actual grade!
  2. I did send it in for a clean and press so I'm curious what it can come back as.
  3. Here's another that I am sending in. I do see some problems with it but I would like to hear what others think.
  4. I'm pretty sure they were married at that point.
  5. Yep I'm already in the middle of a submitting a new list. I appreciate the help! I'm just hoping to capitalize off some of these books that I had in my collection but never thought twice about them so I can get the books that I truly care about graded and slabbed at a minimal cost if possible!
  6. Oh yea for sure. I'm just trying to supplement my personal collection and trying to offset the costs of stabbing my real prizes! I appreciate any insight!
  7. What do you think the ink loss spots cost me as far as grade?
  8. Yea I didn't notice I cropped it that bad. I'll try to get another scan up soon. Thanks for the info though! I'm thinking I may drop this book from my submission list.
  9. Here's a screenshot of it. I posted a scan of it in the hey buddy spare a grade.
  10. Yeah that's what I thought when I initially seen the black markings along the lower spine. But I'm not sure what the white stains are on the upper spine and legs. Do you think a clean and press would remove these issues?
  11. I'm not sure what these markings are. There are white "stains" and a black substance. There are no raised areas that would indicate dirt that could be cleaned. Could it be mold or water spots? Wanted to submit for grading and possible clean and press but if the cp doesn't improve the book then it really is a waste of time and money, correct?
  12. As a long time reader/collector of comics I have always known about cgc. I never knew there were forums here to discuss all things comics. I started cataloging my collection recently and figured I would look into slabbing a few and a couple days later here I am!
  13. Hello my name is Jason. I am a long time Marvel Zombie. For the longest time I was into anything that was X-Men but as I got older I started following certain artists and writers. I haven't picked up a new book in about 6 years but I started cataloging my collection and I can feel the pull(list) again. Lol
  14. Another possible troublesome book. There are some kind of stains or markings on the cover. Would a clean and press take care of those markings?
  15. Everything is intact and no bent corners or tears or any other defects I can see except the the bow at the bottom. It was in a loose long box with just a bag and no board when I found it. Is it worth sending in to be graded? What about pressing, would pressing help the bow? I'm getting ready to send off my first ever batch of books and trying to figure out which books are worth trying to fix and which ones are better off left alone. Thanks for your time!
  16. Yea I've held this baby tight through all the years. Never imagined I'd see it going for the prices I've seen it lately though. Thanks for your time.
  17. Hello, new here so I hope all the pics are acceptable. This has been in my collection since I was about 10. That was 1985. Trying to get a sense if this is worth being sent in to get stabbed. Thanks for any insight!
