    The book looks to be in the 3.0 range (which makes it sound like a turkey) and I don't think the stamp would make much difference as a result. I'm not so sure how CGC would treat it were the book of a high enough grade for the stamp to be material - they give some industry stamps a pass completely (like UK price stamps) as they see them as part of the distribution process. But this stamp, whilst clean and on the reverse, is specific to one outlet so they may knock a point off for that reason. 

    Let's see if my response gets others to join in, who are more familiar with how CGC treat these things.

    Stamp wouldn't matter in this grading range. On a higher copy personally I'd deduct 0.5-1.0 grades. It's not a distribution stamp but one from the book's life a generation later. It doesn't bother me.

    As stated above, if this was a higher grade copy it'd be safe to say CGC would probably knock it down at least half a grade if not a full point.
