Wow amazing copy, grats.

Got my BCM #50 today, went up along with some of my other favorite covers:

Well it wasn't easy but I got a grail I've been after for a while (can't wait for it to arrive):

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask this:
I would like to know about the Allentown Tec 27. Does anyone know where it is/what it's history is since the Allentown collection was found? I've read it is a 9.6 (obviously it hasn't been CGC'd since the highest copy there is a restored 9.2 and a 8.0 universal), is this grade anecdotal (a guy who once talked to a guy who saw it once) or are there pictures/scans of the book somewhere? Basically just interested in what is known about the book.
Thanks

Thanks for the 2 new ECs, shipped quickly and securely just like last time. (thumbs u

Make it stop....

Great cover! I bid on a different 9.4 (not a File Copy) on Heritage Sunday night. Where was this one listed?
Oh that's the one I was bidding on too, thought this was the same one at first glance. Wonder who won the HA one.

Just grabbed this...so I now have a 9.0 undercopy available!
Was wondering if someone here got that, I was bidding on it too. Grats.

Thanks for the CSS #2, fast shipping and secure packing (all the way across the Atlantic with nary a scratch). (thumbs u

Who's gonna get this one? Gains #22

I heard back from the buyer and was given more excuses as to why they couldn't pay but was told I can re-list the book. Frustrated about the whole thing but am unsure if this is probation territory any longer since there is really no way for them to make it right if I re-list.
I assume I should just move on at this point?
The way he would "make it right" is by satisfying you whether it be buying the books, some kind of monetary agreement or just a apology. If they are refusing to pay and have not satisfied you, the aggrieved, they should be listed on the probation list to protect others from their antics and you should feel free to re-list the books in the hopes of finding a reliable buyer.

Update:
My issue with HIDDEN has now escalated to a dispute with Paypal.
He has removed himself from both threads also.
Can the Probation Thread be updated or do I need to update his name?
JJ
He should definitely be added, not sure if you need to wait 30 days/until the PayPal dispute is settled or if he can go on immediately since he has made clear he won't be following through on his obligation.

Kudos to thecollector/Kris for getting Len Wein to sign my Hulk #181 at the Dallas show (he actually got both Len and Herb Trimpe for me, albeit 5 years apart); the book even went from an 8.5 to a 9.0.

This arrived today via Texas. Thanks Joe.
Awesome, glad it got there safe and sound.

Again super fast shipping, great packing and a beautiful book. Pleasure to do business with you again.

A little more mainstream compared to the recent flurry of awesome horror titles that we've seen on the thread. I'm closing ever so slowly on my run (nearing 70 per cent). Just picked these two up recently ...

Love those Gaines copies.

You do realize that book is raw right? What does a scanner being able to do CGC scans have to do with this book.
I was in the process of migrating an Oracle DB..
Ah a DBA should have guessed, they drive me crazy at work too.
