  1. Sad news for those who may have known him or shopped in his store: https://triblive.com/local/greg-eide-owner-of-eides-entertainment-in-downtown-pittsburgh-dies/
  2. Watched it last night. It wasn't horrible, better than BvS, nowhere near as entertaining as WW. I agree with the comments about overuse of CG, some of which looked really bad. Plenty of holes in the story as well, definitely could have benefited from an extra 15-20 minutes to fill those in some.
  3. It's 5.0. There's actually a light crease going from the center of the right edge to the top - you can barely see it viewed straight on but it's more noticeable at an angle. I've considered re-subbing the book but never did get around to it.
  4. I acquired this Flash Comics 92 at NYCC. Always wanted a copy, so when I saw it at the show, I knew I was doomed.
  5. Much, much belated kudos to Comicsarefun, tfa1998, and Bat-Man for helping me fill some holes in my collection.
  6. Can I nominate him for the probation list then? Would appear that you could. I got the book I bought in a timely manner. I did have it CGC'd as someone had suggested it might have restoration, and it was OK. I didn't post anything publically BECAUSE I had asked to speak with him when I bought the book and he had Gus call me instead. When I asked for his name/phone number, he reluctantly gave me his cell phone...after a few emails. Never got his name, so I was not 100 percent gung ho about recommending him. I was just not terribly comfortable with the masking...However, except for that, I had no problems with my transaction, and Gus was very nice on the phone ...he even offered to ship me a Sensation 31 I was interested in on approval, but I declined. I have a feeling that Gus is the one to contact, not Tom. I'm sorry both of you have been going through this stuff. Andrew, since I'm in NY, if you want me to, I'll call Gus for you, just PM me. It's possible, it's just bad communication...after all, he was a brand new poster when he started the threads...might not check on PMs. I'd also start a Paypal/credit card dispute if you can, that might wake someone up. Someone who couldn't be bothered to follow the marketplace guidelines is bound to be a problem seller. I was very surprised to see so many people give him a pass, despite the cool books he was posting.
  7. There was some controversy regarding paper_only and potentially trimmed books a little while back.
  8. A few Planets I acquired in recent months.
  9. Received the "Hey Darling, Let's Hit the Town Tonight" piece. Thanks, Matt!
