  1. It was good, but way too easy. I love Castle, but my husband always complains I guess the endings too fast.

After Henry was "killed" there was no doubt, but way before it was pretty obvious.

I think I may have guessed before 2/24, but the search function is pretty bad.

    Feb 24

It makes perfect sense, we were told that Hunter Zoloman was "Jay's" doppleganger. Obviously the person in the Iron Mask is the real Jay and the person who said he was "Jay" was really Hunter Zoloman, without speed...or some kind of clone, hence the problem with his "cells" so he had no speed..

    At least I think "Obviously;)"

    and on May 3

Man in the iron mask is likely the real Jay Garrick, I think it's just a matter of what actor is playing him.

John Wesley Shipp , HIS MOTHER WAS A Garrick and I said it a while ago lol

Definitely it started to look obvious about one or two episodes ago that JWS was going to be the GA Flash and the man in the mask - but you and a couple others I think nailed it early on! It was very cool seeing him put the helmet on.

Is the JSA in our future? :cloud9:

  2. I thought it was a good episode, but what made it awesome for me was seeing JWS as Jay Garrick! I've been wanting that ALL season! I had a nagging suspicion that he was the Man In The Iron Mask...

    :whee:

That was amazing to see John Wesley Shipp put on the helmet.

I completely agree! Why I overlook the blundering Barry and whatever-works scripts.

  3. Kevin Smith needs to head over to Arrow and save that show.

Does anyone else think the choreographed fight scenes on Arrow are: 1) Really fake looking. 2) Really repetitive.?

Sometimes I can see the pulling back or villains who could clearly strike look frozen but I liked

Arrows fighting for the most part. I also think you gotta take into account the limited production time they have compared to a movie like say Civil War where the fight scenes are incredible.

  4. I still enjoy the show. I guess my bar is fairly low. I kinda feel Arrow is more logical than Flash sometimes. I think the later show, the stories twist and turn to fit together whereas Arrow seems to have followed a more direct path from the start to where they are now. Flash did a complete reset after one season, changed the past and future trajectory of the show. I also like Arrows villains - very serious and formidable. But I love em both partly because of their differences.

  5. If this book were to ever come out it would go down in fandom as one of the most important pieces in our hobby along with the Overstreet guide and Gerber's Photo Journals. It would be a real labor of love and not, as has been mentioned here earlier, a money maker. I really wonder how much Ernie profited from the sales of the Photo Journals in his life time?

I can understand the huge amount of work involved for this. The authors of this book obviously have real lives and jobs needed to pay their bills. It is no surprise it has taken so long.

I sure hope it comes to fruition at some point. It would be awesome to read!

Gary, check with Matt and see if they can change out the Allentown chapter to the completed Windy City one. I suspect they would rather not though because of the excitement it would generate in a work they are so obviously quite a way from finishing.

The reality however is how many copies would really sell if it came out? But if it's continually updated like an Overstreet guide it remains relevant and could fuel long term sales. But no ones gonna get rich overnight, it's a labor of love.

  6. The way I see it, Matt Nelson is probably making too much money in his current position to be motivated to work on a book that is clearly a niche product that might not sell enough copies to turn a profit. I'd like to see it published, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm sure that Matt is busy in his present capacity as head grader at the CGC, but I don't believe he's completely shelved this project. I do think he's planning on putting this out someday when he can draw all the information together and get it edited properly for publication, but it will happen when it happens.

    This probably means NEVER then.

According to a message I had from Timely last year, the book is pretty well dead as nobody really has any time to work on it anymore.

Nor sure if this status has changed since then, but I certainly wouldn't be willing to bet even a dollar on this.

I'm surprised no one has attempted to buy out Steve and Matt's completed work and interests in the book..... and then finishing it. It may not be a huge profit engine, but it could be quite the feather in the cap. GOD BLESS....

-jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u

That's a cool idea Jim but shouldn't maybe CGC consider the profit engine of slabs with pedigrees and future discoveries that could be added as editions or even just the web site as pages that could be printed and put into the binder. That and like somebody else suggested this is an important peice of history for comics and a great chance for CGC to put its brand on something that it has really had a hand in validating. But what do I know,

  7. Good episode tonight....eventually Barry will make a correct decision.

    Do not understand how . . .

Zoom is restrained and seemingly helpless and poof his eyes turn black and he's free. WTF?

I liked the story until that

So now we go through another episode with a powerless Barry Allen?

Maybe Wally will get speed powers and save the day . . .

  8. When are they going to renew this got next year already!

It's really staring to hit its stride - what're they waiting for?

‘The ‘S’ is for sprinkles!’ and Season 2: ‘Supergirl’ cast celebrates every day with donuts

Women in TV and film are under so much pressure to keep a figure that is up to Hollywood’s impossibly thin or perfectly curvy standards, which is what makes the Instagram account of “Supergirl” executive producer Ali Adler so awesome. Adler constantly posts photos of the show’s star, Melissa Benoist, nom-nom’ing down on donuts. Not as “guilty pleasures” or just holding them for photo’s sake, she happily devours frosted, sprinkled and glazed treats on a daily basis.

There’s only one more day until the finale of “Supergirl” airs, and while viewers worry as to why CBS has not renewed the the hit show, fear not Kara Zor-El fans.

    Keep calm and donut on.

“Supergirl” is coming back. How do we know? Fellow EPs Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kresiberg have already discussed casting decisions for Season 2 with Zap2it, and because the network doesn’t normally announce renewal decisions until a series has wrapped up.

CBS likes to wait until the end of a season.
