  1. I guess I've been lucky because this is the first one I've had that looked like this. I haven't any newton rings at all. I have had to return a couple books for scratches on the case but not these "newton" ring issues. I was notified today that i can continue to submit as an ME but it's up to the grader to see if I get charged the second time. So you spend tons of money and one book they won't fix. Great job CGC. They did not reholder the book after I resubmitted as an ME. 1st pic is before the second is after ME submission this is what I get back.
  2. I agree with that! Seriously they turned it around in record time but seeing they didn't do anything I guess that's why. What's the point of them paying for overnight shipping and then not recasing the book. I emailed them and see what the response is. I mean it's not a huge book obviously but when you pay $25 to get graded you expect it to not look like that. I've submitted several hundred books the past 2 years and never had an issue like this.
  3. I've sent a book back for an ME because it had what looks like newton rings or something in the case. They sent it back and now it looks worse. None of my other books in the shipment had this effect on them. It looks like they didn't even recase the book?
  4. Thanks for letting me know. I sent an email with cert #.
  5. I received a swamp thing 46 graded a 9.8 but there is a piece of debris on the right side of the case. It's not a crack it looks like a piece of some plastic. It did move a bit so I know it's not a crack but it's stuck in the side seam. What do you do in this type of instance? I don't want to have to pay to recase since it came to me this way. Thanks
  6. Thanks for the input from everyone. As an update I carefully cut the top with and exacto blade and saved the poster and polybag and submitted the book and received a 9.8!
  7. I know this is an old topic but wanted to know if I should open the polybag of Ghost Rider #28 myself and submit it in case it needs to be pressed. I'm also wondering about the Lilith poster that is on the back of the book inside the polybag? Is that submitted and encapsulated with the book? Or is it trashed with the bag if I let CGC open it? Thanks
  8. So with a large shipping box that has 4 raw books containers I can ship all 4 in the same large Fragile box but each has it's own packing slip?
