As far as Blue Ribbon goes, the reason I couldn't complete it back then was because I was too cheap to pay for higher grade copies of the issue I was missing.

I can only dream of being able to 'overpay' for these in the early 2000s compared to what I'm paying for them in 2023.  Congrats on almost finishing and congrats on finishing up the Top Notch run, that one is tough too.

 thanks Jon - such a tough book - in a year of constantly looking, nagging people, etc. I have only been able to find two copies, that one and a blue 1.5 - that's it
