  1. 1.) Know the difference between blue line pencil and blue line printout.

2.) Find a focus like a charactor or something special to look for, which is great for getting commisons done or even searching for published pages.

3.) Be prepaired for ups and downs in your ability to find a piece and your own mode.

4.) Try to share your art passion with your wife or other, my wife loves the art aspect of comics which surprised me alot and she will go to cons with me now.

5.) Meet the artists at comic cons and know the 99% are great people that charge fair and so great work and that 1% will look at you and only see money or there handlers/managers will see you in that way. I have a few horror stories and so will you if you stick with it.

6.) lastly, know how to take care of your art! exterier walls shift in temp, lighting damages art, do not let it touch the glass and use acid free everything.

    Good luck! -Drew

  2. Got these comics today at an estate sale for 2 dollars each. Most of them are around VF/VF- and the Batman book was 25cents and came with a ton of great added details throughout the book in including the following picture and some very vulger riddles that I can not post here by none other than the riddler himself. Anyway atleast the comics did not have any writing in or on them. Enjoy

  3. I am abandoning my quest for hulk double covers having to do with wolverine. These are going on ebay (9466andrew) this Fri the 28th around 8pm with some other stuff I just got back from CGC. If you want to make an offer before that I will listen via PM. I am interested in cash or published wolverine art. Thanks all, enjoy!

  4. I have been collecting for 12 years and just bought my first house with my wife. This is our guest room/office that wows some and scares most. No comics are allowed outside the room and someday there will be no bare wall space and I do plan on covering the ceiling somehow. Enjoy!
