They were more using CGC to scam others than actually scamming CGC itself.

We’ve been focusing on his eBay sales in this thread, but it now seems like CL is another venue the scammer frequents.

Hopefully there were still some reholders in the pipeline. It would be nice to know if the scammer was able to reseal existing CGC cases or if they did actually get the equipment & supplies to make their own.

If we were to look closely at his overall submissions, it might seem odd that the scammer never orders custom labels for his raw submissions.

Is there any evidence that the scammer was selling swapped books that didn’t first go to CGC for a reholder?

I’m assuming the SS books on the list were reholdered with custom labels, and that’s what put them on the list.

What does this particular book prove to law enforcement? There was no swap. It was just a reholder.

The custom labels definitely make all the reholdering less suspicious. I doubt this scam would be possible without them
