Long Time since I posed here!
Just got in a nice and glossy copy (inside spine restored + a very few and small CT) of USA Comics #7
All the best

Ultimate Cap cover
Really cool cover!! Bucky with a WWII era machine gun! How cool is that! Could a machine gun from that era take out warplanes? I'm not an expert on weaponry.

This one isn't an Axis cover, but it is war themed. I'm glad whoever owned this one originally didn't follow the cover's advice and send it to a paper drive.
War theme is good also (thumbs u

I offered him a few at FMV, and he wanted to pay about 25-50% of that ...could be the issue?Read his post history Bill and tell me if you still think it's funnyIt goes a little something like this (repeat ad nauseum):
any timelys?
any more timelys??
TIMELYS??
any more timelys?
do you know what issues?
more timelys?what titles,please?
so,where's the other timelys,please??
any other MMs?thinking about this one.see if another's better.
well, what else?these are going like hotcakes.
anything today?
any more timelys?
hi,anything yet??
any timelys??
All Select#3 or 4?
All select#3 and 4??
what about the Timelys?
Has anyone sold him any? Maybe he would stop asking then
Sounds like he suffers from the same affliction that I have. Fear-of-paying-crazy-prices-for-timelys-itis
Actually, Albert bought a very low grade Timely from me on eBay. He insisted on paying with a MO, paid promptly and was very polite. He was looking for other low grade books, so I told him about the selling thread on this board. He's just not a high grade collector, he is looking for complete books, that's about it.
I know he's bought from Ferdelance,
I know he's purchased from Point Five.
He did buy a book from Bedrock, I had seen it in his WTB post and when I saw it at the Con, at Richard's booth, I PMed him and got his phone number, and Rob (Ferdelance) called him from Richard's booth, Albert spoke to Richard and they made an immediate (and what Richard seemed to consider reasonable) deal.
He has bought MANY Timelys on this board, I just have the feeling he's not exactly used to posting on chatboards.
Someone who was being a wise spoon... and I don't remember who, told him that he should post in CAPS when he first posted and I guess being a little chatboard uneducated, he thought that was the correct thing to do. Once Rob and I explained, he stopped.
So, if some of you perhaps remember once being a little shyer and a little less knowledgeable about the internet...perhaps it will make more sense.
Plus maybe he's a little bit addicted to low grade Timelys....we all have some kind of comic addictions.
There is certainly nothing wrong with someone who loves comics..at least not here. Perhaps one day, he'll post something more....or less.
Hopefully next year he will join us at the dinner....this year he couldn't make it.
This is for all of you....
Oh and
Sharon's right, Alberts a good guy (thumbs u and is a true blue hardcore Timely collector. He is one of the few guys who actually reads his books.
He's not as chatboard savy as most of you guys, but you certainly know what he wants.
I was disapointed I didn't get the privilege of meeting him in New York, but I did get to talk to him on the phone, and he has the cool New York accent.
I hope to meet Albert at a future comic-con.
I enjoyed meeting Sharon(skypinkblu) and Rick(Gator)

Cross posting this in the Gerber thread. This is listed as a Gerber 7, but I wonder if it's more like an 8...
