I currently live in Europe, but I will be in the US starting this Thursday. I am offering up a few books that have been on fire while I have been living out of the country. This book/these books will not ship before Friday, no matter how quickly someone grabs it/them; but it should ship within a day. Sale will end no later than 4/21 if not sold, and I'll carry them back to Europe with me. Here are my rules. Read them carefully. Your life may depend on it. Whoever works out a deal for the book first wins. If that's in the thread here, fine. If it's in a PM, fine. Whoever gets to agreement on the terms with me first, wins. Here's the rest. I will take Paypal. I will ship in the US only for this sale. Payment is expected by 4/21 days unless we work something out. If I have you on ignore, or if you are on the PL or HOS, I will not sell to you. Normally, books are fully returnable within 7 days. However, because of this unique sale, all sales are final here. Assume books are pressed unless stated otherwise. What else can I think of? Nothing at the moment. But the above is subject to change at any time. Forgot to mention shipping. It's priority mail in the US only at $10 flat.

The common response is: If it's a big enough key or you're selling enough $$ volume in one swipe, you negotiate a kickback on the BP from HA. But I absolutely agree that, even after getting a piece of the BP, they're hard pressed to show enough value-add to justify the extra vig.

One more thing. With purchase of this slab, I will throw in a raw copy of the book. It has some minor issues: thumb crease right edge of fc; very small tear on same side; the bc needs to be cleaned; overall I will call it a 7.5/8.0 to be conservative. But ignore it anyway; I'm throwing this in for free. I don't have a great scanner here with me, so I will add some phone pics of the slab tomorrow. It is a CGC 9.8 White pages. Below are scans of the raw book. Price is $1025 shipped in the US.

It isn't limited to there. It's like people see all-time, fluke GPA highs and say, "hold my beer." I know GPA isn't everything, especially with some SA keys on CLink recently. But, for dime a dozen BA or CA 9.8 keys, GPA is usually a pretty good indicator. I see people price at 50/75/100% more than all time highs. It's their right.

Taxes and how to handle them have been discussed a million times on this forum. Cliffs notes: If you aren't sure if you're a business or a hobbyist when it comes to filing income taxes, you're 99% a hobbyist. Don't just default to "I guess I have to file a Schedule C and pay my accountant more when I shouldn't be because I just put my money back into comics." That's the end of it. I'm going nowhere near the politically explicit and undercurrent components of the posts here.

Has anyone heard from Mr. Bedrock?

Don't you wear gloves most times you see someone?
