VintageComics
I fully believe JIM 83's are going to take another 2 steps forward...some recent sales I have made are evidence of that to me (thumbs u Yup. GPA is only part of the picture. I have been getting over GPA for most keys in private sales. Sold two copies of JIM #83 CGC 5.5 this year privately at well over GPA prices....$3500 and $4000. namisgr
It depends on the eye appeal of the book. My copy of JIM83 in 6.0 fetched a GPA record price of $6,100 at auction this summer. It was a really nice looking copy. It's also worth remembering Roy's point that not every sale is recorded by GPA.

My CGC 6.0 oww copy sold on Comiclink for $5200 about a year ago and also looked much nicer than the assigned grade. Definite uptrend, regardless. Flash105
I think prices will appreciate more. The trailer to the movie looks really good and the increased exposure can only help a character like Thor. If a movie seen by millions only pulls in 20 new high grade collectors and several hundred low/mid grade collectors that would be huge for the books. ChasingKingKirby
It's got the weak URC, but I still think it could make 7.0. It's a pretty nice book.
