Priority or Media poll

I would pay 2 extra bucks for priority because

 

(1) I would get it sooner.

 

(2) Less chance of damage being in the PO system for less time (I have also heard they are not as careful with media packages).

 

Funny you should say that. I received an ASM # 3 today by Priority Mail (box) with a huge freaking gaping hole in the side. Luckily, the seller did a nice job of wrapping up the book.

Media Mail has it's uses. I can mail 10 comics in a box with lots of padding and delivery confirmation for around $3.00. I live in New England and if the buyer is on the East coast it doesn't make much difference in delivery time. For reading comics it makes a lot of sense, to me at least.

 

At heavy mail traffic times like April 15 and Christmas it's a different story. Media rate takes a back seat to the higher priced methods and can take a very long time to get delivered.
