tth2 took a positive JC thread off-topic with a personal attack.

JC has been a positive poster for a good while now. I've enjoyed his

presence on the board.

 

There was no reason for tth2 to bring his 3..4..5? year old personal grudge

into the thread. It's over, been explained ad nauseam by all parties. Move Along.

 

Apparantly JC had built up a lot of pent up feelings with his positive postings

and tth2 stepped into a minefield.

 

It was actually fairly tame as far as the old JC goes.

 

I look forward to both posters return.

Last time I saw something like that happen I was in grade school.

 

I'm pretty sure Tim is a lawyer, but there's not one, single person on these boards that has ever actually met JC, or even known or heard of him second-hand from another collector or dealer.

Does anyone truly believe the "nice" act would last for long? We are all who we are. The old JC is what he is and that would have come out sooner or later.

wow. Tims kept his nose clean as long as Ive known him here. Its sad to let JC get under your skin. He's such a joke that I dont even engage him anymore. I used to try to suggest ways in which he could be a better member of the community here to no avail. ( Its just a shame that someone who loves being here just has never realized that we are here too and a big part of the attraction for him. Why stay where you hate everyone?)

 

and to think I missed it all because I bailed on the whole contest as a waste of time after Jonah Hex (who should have been in the top 5 or ten) was ousted in the first round! Witnessing this flameout probably would have been worth slogging thru the merits of minor Bronze books. oh well.

Not much of a stretch in my opinion. Plenty of posters on the board express themselves in a gruff manner from time to time. JC found some bronze age stuff that matched his interest and he's pretty much stayed within it...with Positive posting in those threads.

 

We as on-lookers can relish watching the vitrole that comes from such as the recently pulled thread and egg it on...or we can encourage the positive stuff.
