I really want either the CGC 4.5 copy, one of the 2 5.0 or 2 6.0's.

 

If the regular 5.0 (Not the D copy) sold for $747.50 in 2003 I wonder what it would sell for now?

I could see myself spending a grand but definitely not 3 or 4. I doubt Heritage would release any information about who the buyer was...

It's really tough when the book you want is also wanted by everyone else in the collecting community. I've found this out as I've been doing my research on precode horror books. Some books are so scarce that a) they rarely come on the market, and b) when they do they go for huge bucks.
