FF51 page on Ebay! Woof!

Looks like a very clean and bright page. Those Sinnott inks are spectacular.

I like the Doomsday page a LOT. I am sure the current owner is VERY happy with it.

Yeah I was surprised the BIN didn't get popped -- This page has it all: Kirby crackle, Negative Zone, great character interaction, and one of the classic storylines of all time.

I'm surprised it's only at 10K with 2 days to go. The last hour of bidding should be furious....

BTW, what was the last issue of large art for the FF?

Hi Steve; hope I didn't imply I didn't like the Doomsday page.... I do, lots!!! Just would want this one more for me if price comparisons weren't an issue.

It's all about the last few seconds on ebay.... or the off-ebay offerings these days...

Also, I'm not sure it's wise to throw up 4 pages in one week. They are all very different, but still it may affect values to the negative... just my opinion.

Dan, I agree completely and while you were posting this I was posting a very similar sentiment in the thread about the #16 page... lol

I think the FF 51 will draw attention (and possible $$) from the other auctions. If nothing else, the two non-Sinnott pages may compete for the same bidders.

I'd say "great minds think alike" but that's giving my mind way too much credit :P

I rarely show original art I'm interested in to the Mrs. (largely because it is out of my price range), but I just had to show this one to her since it is from my favorite issue ever.

She was surprised at the price and wondered why I liked it. Interestingly, she likes more modern artists like Pacheco and Ladronn. I wonder if it has anything to do with growing up in a euro-influenced household and coming into contact with comics at a later age...

Anyhow, I agree with the seller that this does pretty much summarize the whole story.
