I'd be curious to know exactly what was said. One might wonder if it's a form of intimidation to supress anti-pressing or anti- CGC talk, particularly when dealing with highly sensitive ethical and moral elements of a business. Our society does seem to be engaging in more blatant forms of censorship and abuses of authority. Oh well, such is life.I'm sure Ciorac has plenty of other things to do and will hardly miss these boards. We'll still look foreard to his return.

Bill deliberately re wrote a post of Steve B's with a very anti CGC flavor , he knew what he was doing when he wrote it and is sleeping in the bed he made.

 

The 2 weeks will go by quickly and I hope he returns to talk about funny books.

 

But to hear you talk it about sensitive ethical, and moral implications is hillarious when in actuality it just came down to him breaking a well established forum guideline.

 

Dont say slanderous things about the big dog, or he may bite you.

Just as a matter of information, this may help....

I am back from the vacation( it was ROCKING!). Always nice to read through a new pressing with almost nothing new (loved Ponseti's Pot/kettle and reason for joining nod lines lol ).

 

Brian is correct in his quote, I (and many other long time hobbyists, including Susan in the 2nd overstreet grading guide) have stated this many times.Heck, many seasoned hobbyists can't tell color touch, tear seals, solvent cleaning, and such 100% of the time, myself included :o (sorry kids, it sucks being human :pullhair::kidaround:) let alone tell a correctly pressed book. That's just life.

 

That's it for me in a pressing thread, it's a drive by, :baiting: just wanted to save Brian a call about this. When he and I talk, I would rather talk about life and comics not the same old, same old (thumbs u
