EBay Bozo's Coming Out of the Woodwork

In the last week there have been 2 nice high grade GA books I was tracking, issues that probably haven't surfaced in at least 3 years and both of them (two separate sellers) had their auctions cancelled by EBay and their ID's suspended. WTF is going on?

The Subby # 18 was a scam. Despite the seller's perfect feedback score, the scan was lifted from the Heritage archives, as well as the full auction description from 2002. Yeah, the insufficiently_thoughtful_person used the exact, word for word Heritage auction description. Kinda easy for ebay to pull the plug when the facts became known to them.

 

Too bad, cause I REALLY wanted that book.
