Well, ecfanman (and I appreciate the handle as I collect pre-code horror as my main thang) - I have to ask. Why didn't you say all that before now? What I mean is, you let something that even you admit does not amount to an accusation get under your jib, so to speak, enough to make you post that. But we have, in spite of the foolishness (which I confess to taking part in) some really great stuff on here (which I also confess to taking part in). I for one, being a specialist in pre-code horror, would have loved to see an "ecfanman" hanging around here!

 

SO - next time you feel compelled to post, don't let something like Bug incite you! Let it be something like a VOH 12! devil.gif

I made it clear that I wasn't saying these people are guilty of anything.......but that some of those accounts are very suspect.....and they are.

Nobody's saying you're guilty of any wrongdoing and I was simply saying the "account" itself appeared suspect. The problem is, there appear to be shill accounts that people are using to increase their odds of winning the contest, as well as people that only want to post in here to try to snag free prizes. That doesn't seem fair. I don't normally participate in comics-quest, but there are many regular forum members on here that contribute knowledge, experiences, and entertainment for the members. And then, when they try to participate in a contest to win prizes, they end up competing against shill accounts or people that contribute little or nothing to the forum and it's members.

 

Having said all that.....and based on your resonse.....I don't think you're one of these people. Why don't you join in on some of the conversations in here? You seem to have some valuable knowledge and experience in the hobby that I'm sure would be of interest and could benefit people in here. Plus, it would get your post count up so you can continue to compete in the trivia contest. thumbsup2.gif
