Anyone have any information on the 1940 Superman gum cards realesed by Gum, Inc. ? How many in the set? Average price per grade they sell for? Web site that has scans of a set? Did they reprint comic panels? Anything else? hm

I believe there are more than 66 maybe 88 cards as I remember. And I think those last numbers are tougher to come by than the lower numbers. In the grade above they can go from $15 to $50. I remember some PSA graded cads in 6 and 7 that went for $200-400 and I do believe they are based upon but not duplicates of comic panels. I know there's one where Superman is pulling bars out of a cell similar to Superman #5 cover.

Gum Inc also put out WWII cards which are worth maybe $5 a piece and also Lone Ranger cards which are equal or more than the Supermans.
