Is The Walking Dead getting a boost?!?!?!?

On any given day I can find at least 2 to 3 copies of Walking Dead #1 on Ebay. I have noticed that very recently they have been harder to find listed. I have two copies myself, one graded and one ungraded with both the white lettering and black lettering on the mature readers text. I still look though, can't help it, just find myself doing it.

Do you think the No One is Safe story line is affecting the back issue interest? I am just curious to other people's opinions. Thanks.

Are the production counts documented and what are they? Yeah, I started picking it up monthly starting with #37, and I can't find any back issues. And if I do, they ain't cheap. I wish some of my BA CGC stuff would sell like this.
