Do you refuse to buy, say, a VG?

 

I'd be scewed doing that... :sorry:

 

I go by price more than grade.

For my SA Marvel collection the first threshold is $20, then $50, then $200.

I can get most late SA comics in VF for around $20 and certainly for under $50.

So I don't collect late SA books below VF.

On mid 60s books VFs often top the $50 threshold so I'll settle for a sharp F/F+.

Then there are those early 60s big dollar books.

I try to keep to the $200 limit and will take any grade from 3.0 - 6.0 that will fit.

My lower limit is 3.0 but with a major key like the TTA 27 1.8 I just put on hold from FT in the marketplace I have to simply hold my nose and settle for the best I can afford.
