What to do with an 80's collection?

If they're really sharp and not total krap titles, you might be able to get $1 pop +/- here, depending on when in the 80s they're from.

 

Heck, on occasion I will pull stuff like that out of a dollar box when they're really super sharp 60 - 75 cent cover price books if they're titles I'm interested in/interesting covers, etc.

hey, high grade 35 cent/40 cent cover price stuff was (mostly) 25-50 cent box fodder up until CGC came along, so you never know. the 80s stuff was hoarded in larger numbers, but so was some of the late 70s stuff.

Maybe in 10+ years, when the 90's fodder is called the aluminum age, then 80's stuff which is copper age will take off. The labeling of an age seems to make the prior age more desirable somehow.

 

Dont like aluminum age? How about adobe, or stucco, or plaster age, or lead?
