First of all I'd like to thank the cast and crew, the lighting, the key grip, the make-up people, Russell Simmons, et al for making this possible. acclaim.gifacclaim.gif

As always, I accept MLJ/Archie comics from the 1940's, along with Bidpay/Paypal payments and CGC submissions. Please, it is my 30th, so walk-thru service only.

Just think, 10 years ago when I turned 20 I was taking Russian History at Ohio University and didn't know how to turn on a computer. No EBAY in 1993, so I wasn't missing anything!

Also, if you have a Pep #22 or an Archie #1 taking up valuable shelf space, I'll pay shipping to Columbus. Really. cloud9.gif893crossfingers-thumb.gif

hey shield i just turned 30 on the 9th! happy birthday! Must have been a good birth year for people to collect comics that came out decades before they were born!

Whoah! ANOTHER GA 30 year old! It warms the heart and makes one glad, Shiver! Sweet! 893applaud-thumb.gif

You are about to find out that being 30 is no Jackpot or Blue Ribbon prize. Now that you are out of your 20's you will also find that your little Hangman is no longer loaded with Pep or Zip, so you may as well just throw a Black Hood over it and call it a day. Thats right, getting Captain Flag to stand up and salute will be a little more difficult in the morning. No pictures of Betty and Veronica will help you now. Then again maybe you were not into the Archie scene, perhaps you are into the Wizard and his sidekick Roy the Super Boy. What the heck was he so super at anyway? Don't worry though, you can find some Mr. Justice in the form of Viagra that will help out ole Steel Sterling when you need it. Go ahead and Laugh...you'll see soon enough that you are no longer Top Notch like you were last year.

Absolutely brilliant. I can't believe how much you know about MLJ! Wow! What, no Comet/Bob Phantom/Rang-A-Tang reference? Roy was super at wearing short shorts and teaming up with Dusty the love muffin. Anyway, at 20 I wanted a girl like Betty; now I want a Veronica or at least a Midge. Maybe it's the old age talking, but the only change being 30 is now any aches I get I wonder if it's old-age-ism kicking in.

P.S. My girlfiend is 26, so she's still Top-Notch. We'll call her Fran Frazer to protect her anonymity; I just hope she still enjoys my Red Rube.

It's very, very strange how we all have one track minds. How ironic - I spent the last 30 seconds of being 29 and the first few minutes of age 30 (read=3 minutes) with "Miss Shield". I figured I'd kick off my 30's with a bang. (insert snare/high hat)

So anyway POV you're saying for sure I have at least another good 22 years left?
