Operation Comix Relief Teams with Diamond, Industry Vendors to Bring Comics to U.S. Troops

As reported in the September 24 Stars and Stripes, a new program, Operation Comix Relief, is now providing comic books to service members stationed overseas. Founded by Framingham, MA's Chris Tarbassian, and sponsored in part by donations from Diamond, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics & Top Cow Productions, CrossGen Entertainment, and others, the program was started during Operation Enduring Freedom, and has delivered close to 4,000 comic books to appreciative troops stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other worldwide locations.
