Everybody here as really helped me a lot in grading. I have been way off on grading by

2 - 2.5 range (higher) Now im in the hunt for a Silverage at 8.0 - 8.5, I now know I dont have a 9.0+ or maybe even an 8.5 or that matter.

 

So far the forum help me with a identify a sample book of 4.5/5.0, 7.0/7.5, 2.5/3.0

I will be posting a few more with just the front trying to find a good solid 8.0 - 8.5

Im thinking about a 8.0??

(I just did a preview prior to posting and the book changed on me!!! now it looks like a 7.0.

These books look a heck of a lot better if I didnt scan them or scan with a smaller image.)

I think they are just tarnished . . . but there is too much edge, corner, and spine wear for this book to grade an 8.0. Of course, we'd have to see the BC, but a 7.0 sounds about right

Theres no rust on the staples, they are kinda silvery, its just not showing.

Regardless, as you can see the spine all of a sudden has more wear!!
