Is it useful to CGC low grade Silver?

I need to sell some low-grade ASM's. Just wondering if I should bother to CGC or not. I've already CGCd the AF15 3.0 U and ASM 1 3.5 U, but I've got 2-20 also, none above VG/F, just reader copies. Is there any practical benefit to slabbing books like these? Thanks.

No, you'll probably get a higher price for them raw.

It MAY be worth slabbing 2-5 if you feel they will grade above VG. The #3 might be worth slabbing and holding until Spider-man 2 movie hype kicks in...

You might slab 2-5 but any others would not be worth it. 2-5 are a tough call, I would not if they are only VGs.

I'd definitely slab the first villain appearance issues, as some newbie buyers are hesitant to lay down any cash without a resto check, even on low-grade copies.

 

That is, assuming they're VG or higher.

Its probably worh slabbing 14 also, mainly for the restoration check and the added buyer confidence in a CGC blue label.
