Vampire Tales #2

I've got a couple of magazines, with specific issues to them. Interested in knowing how this affects general grades. On this book it is the chipping effect to the edge. Not sure if this is a Marvel chipping issue or an insect issue. I've always considered it an insect issue, but oddly, never see it on a comic. How much would this type defect drag down an otherwise sharp 8.5/9.0 type magazine. This book is pretty severe, but I've got other books with very light edge wear. I've never owned a CGC graded magazine, so I'm not sure how tough they are compared to a silver or bronze comic. Thanks for any insight.
