There is an original painting by Shag on eBay this week listed under comic book OA. Think the vendor is asking around $5k, but for that budget I would rather "invest" in OA from Tara McPherson (MacPherson?) which is in the same alternative vane. Tara also has a booth at Int'l Comic-con: San Diego and is better looking than Shag.

I'm going to recommend Cal Slayton for an economical option as well.

 

Cal's great... he lives local to me and I had him design a business logo for me a couple of years ago.
