Somewhat OT - Saturday Morning Show of the 70's!

Hey Everyone,

 

I have been trying to find information about a Saturday morning TV show. I estimate it ran between '77 and '80. I can only remember a few spotty details but I remember thinking, at the time, that it was the coolest show I'd ever seen. Details: (Disclaimer this is my memory of a 29 year old show and may be affected by the ravages of time and accumulated booze)

 

(1) A group of kids with superpowers.

(2) Either the intro or the outro was filmed on a playground

(3) One of the protagonists was an african american kid who lifted up a big rock

(4) There was a kid who shrunk like the Atom

(5) There was a kid who had to be in a tank of water most of the time

(6) I think they had a van.

(7) It is not Misfits of Science.

Totally corny. But as a kid, I was literally waiting for my mutant abilities to manifest themselves. So this was like a how-to manual. lol

No idea I'm afraid. :( However back then I had no interest in any of the live action kid shows.
