Collectables / Comic Insurance - UK collectors, can you help?

I was wondering if any of the other UK collectors out there could point me in the direction of decent firms that insure collectables, as I'm having a bit of trouble locating them and the regular insurance firms don't seem too know what they're doing regarding comics etc,

Mine are a named extra on the house contents insurance.

I was advised once (by someone comic knowledgable) that specialist insurers tend to charge more for no extra benefit. Anyone else got an opinion on this?
