Scanning a graded comic?

[font:Verdana]when i try to scan my CG or PGX Comics onto my computer, the picture is always a bit blurry. Seems though noone else has that problem as alot of clear scans all over the place

 

Is this i issue of needing a newer scanner, or just some setting that need to be adjusted....[/font]

need a legal sized scanner
