I just saw that the reprints of Ultimate Spider-man and X-Mne are gaining a crazy support on ebay, being the average price between 90$ and 130$!!!!!!!

 

And every bidder is crazy to get them, not just one or two pseudo-speculators,.

 

Why is this? Is there anything special about these comics, they are simply reprints with covers already published...??!!!!!!!

ps- they call it variant, but isn't there only one normal cover for these reprints, ??!!!!!

It seems that every 10 years, the speculator suckers build to sufficient mass, and then invade the comic book market. It's kinda like those big ants in Africa who come every decade and destroy everything in their path, before dying out...

In a nutshell, all this hi-grade CGC stuff is gonna crash and also the ultra-expensive-original/reprint ultimate $100.00 and up comics are gonna sell for less than cover or close to cover or maybe just a bit over cover. (You get the idea). It will be a great time to buy comics. Now, if you've paid through the nose for all this stuff, then your in trouble. If not, nothing to worry about.

 

Keep in mind that this is only one of several "Elseworlds" that have been discussed on the forum. Just as many people believe it, as don't. As for me....it's a possibility. (It's the politician in me.)

No these aren't the Must Haves editions, just reprints that assemble 2 or 3 stories.

 

Either we believe they are worth nothing or not, looks like there are a lot of people outhere that care a lot for these, came on, if we only saw one auction, but all the pseudo-variant are going these way...what a loonesy,.
